Advanced Solar Projects: COMPLETE
In an area that is prone to power outages and rolling blackouts, these homeowners have now safeguarded themselves against potential power problems that may arise.
With rising electricity rates and increasing grid instability, more and more homeowners are opting to add solar storage along with their rooftop panels.
This completed project was installed in Livonia, MI, in November 2023. This project features 25 SunPower solar panels installed on the roof, as well as a Tesla Powerwall 2 installed in the basement.
The combination of panels and a solar battery provides the homeowners with a way to save their sustainable solar energy, and use that energy in whichever way is most suitable to them.
These rooftop arrays provide the homeowners with a 100% energy offset. This means that the panels will generate all of the solar energy that they will need to use in a day.
